I continue to be beyond amazed by my baby niece Chloe’s resilience and ability to beat all of the odds. After her recent stint in the hospital for 2 weeks, it was said she was starting back at square one with physical therapy. For starters, she was going to have to relearn how to walk. This broke my heart. How long would this take? Weeks? Months?

After the last update, things were definitely looking bleak but as always, I have faith in my baby niece Chloe. And so do you all! Thank you for that. Still doing tests but each day she seems to get better. As ever, my baby niece Chloe is a little fighter. She’ll probably get to inpatient rehab until tomorrow. Still some right sided weakness which is possibly due to a sub-cortical stroke. But getting better gradually. I continue to have faith in her and hope things start looking up soon. Please keep sending those vibes and what not.

Not much news today everyone. Unfortunately, Chloe has been a bit up and down. We’ll know more after another test tomorrow. I’m just gutted and my heart continues to break for my baby niece. But I will also continue having faith in her because she is such a little fighter. Keep sending those vibes. Love you all.

She’s been extubated and breathing on her own. Still sleepy from sedatives but she’s stirring. They’ll do an EEG tomorrow to test brainwaves for seizure activity. Hope to step down to Pedi-floor Tuesday or Wednesday. Sis says she looks good. Thanks again to all for continued love and support.
